Handwoven in the high Andes by Mamita Celestina from 100% sheep wool, this chumpi carries the memory of the mountains, the plants and the hands that created it.
The wool was naturally dyed by Celestina herself using plants gathered from the Andes, then woven slowly by hand using traditional weaving techniques passed down through generations. Every thread holds time, intention and ancestral knowledge.
Traditionally, chumpis are worn around the womb and solar plexus to bring warmth, support and grounding to the body. In the Andes, they are used to protect the energetic center, support posture while working and carrying and create a feeling of rootedness and strength.
